Gray Areas Persist
2009
digital prints, dimensions variable
Gray Areas Persist puzzles the simultaneous environments of networked culture, attending to possibility spaces between obsolete or rejected knowledge structures, and emergent forms of realism.
Varied groupings of framed photographs, diagrams and text are corralled under auspices of: "Derelict Theory Objects," "Possible Rendezvous," "Indicator Species," and "Out of Place Artifacts." Components are modular and conceptually engineered after the associational mechanics of the curiosity cabinet.
