Signal Culture Residency

With support from  both a Career Opportunity Grant from the Oregon Arts Commission and the Tori Bryer Faculty Opportunity Award from PNCA, I traveled to Signal Culture in July. Joined by the intrepid Nat Hawks, aided by Hank Rudolph and inspired by the eclectic charm of Owego, Nat and I utilized the incredible expanse of audio-visual instrumentation offered by this electronic arts center to devise an array of "atempastoral" tone poems.  Wading through nearly twenty hours of audio-visual output, I am beginning to annotate these materials for use in near-future itinearies.
