in February 2009, the U.S. will add "dead air" to the acres of "dead media," pulling the plug on analog broadcasts. Pre-empting this program of e-waste & obsolescence, BYOTV launches a six-week season of special reports engaged with this technocultural turn. visitors are encouraged to "bring their own tv" and tune in to a series of short-range transmissions. Exquisite Octopus:

recipe for collorative sound collage. a series of audio remixes mutate through 4 exchanges, resulting in 8 "tentacles" of an exquisite sonic octopus! excerpt from inaugural octopus created with Nat Hawks

Time Out:

exercise in temporal anamorphosis, short-circuiting typical trompe l'oeil illusions associated with digital compositing. this multi-layered composition activates spatial anachronisms disrupting one's singular sense of "here" and "now"

Things Go Wrong:

digital video. narrative continuity confabulated using database of disparate Harrison Ford films. In this uncanny new adventure, sibling rivalries erupt between Ford and his multiple reproduced others. Co-edited with Jason Kocol.
